Marble's Ideal clone furnished by Alfred Williams of Sheffield to Kastor of New York
Approximately 8-3/4 inches overall, 4-1/2 inch blade.

Obverse ricasso: ALFRED WILLIAMS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND.

Reverse ricasso: +EBRO+ = word trademark of Adolph Kastor & Bros of New York City (mark purchased in Sheffield), after the River Ebro in Portugal.

Wide fullers in blade (as in the Ideal) to allow it to be honed flat, like a razor, which alas has been done quite a bit.

Handle of leather rings, flanked by black and red vulcanized fibre rings, trimmed with brass seppa.

Nickel silver guard. Stag pommel. Leather drop-in sheath of the correct style.
