<big>JOWIKA / SOLINGEN / GERMANY</big> post-WWII Jugendmesser youth knife with fleur-de-lis scout-type escutcheon. Made by Jowika Stahlwarenfabrik, Weber & Altenbach, in their Solingen factory (they also had a factory in Listowel, Ireland, later sold to Imperial). This is a postwar commercial export knife. Plated mounts, leather buffer, checkered plastic grip panels, glazed carbon steel blade, painted steel sheath with leather belt loop. 5-1/2 inch blade; 9-5/8 inches overall. Used, tarnished, and scuffed. From a large consigned collection.
